Michael Wilson will show a PowerPoint presentation of his paintings and will talk about the exhibition.
One Man, One War, One Hundred Years is an art exhibition created by Urbandale, Iowa, artist Michael Wilson. It commemorates the 100th anniversary of the World War One armistice. Wilson’s Great Uncle served in WWI and kept a small leather datebook logging dates and descriptions of his experiences. The paintings in the exhibition are inspired by entries in the datebook.
One Man, One War, One Hundred Years is endorsed as an official project of the U.S. World War One Centennial Commission and the Iowa WWI Centennial Committee.
