Sensory Spaces at Urbandale Public Library

UPL invites individuals, families and children with special needs to borrow materials and enjoy a few special activities. We will reduce the lighting and have areas set up for quiet and for meeting an animal friend. We will have ear plugs and ear coverings, gloves and more for those who experience sensory defensiveness. As always our friendly staff will be on hand to answer questions and help you find materials that are perfect for your needs.
