The Covid-19 pandemic has created a public health crisis
across the country, and is also having a grave economic and social impact. Businesses have closed; special events are
cancelled; family members are unable to see each other; and even the way in which
we carry out everyday activities, like getting a haircut or going to the
grocery store, has changed. These are truly unprecedented times!
Writing down your memories of this historic period helps creates an important record for future generations. To help you get started, the Urbandale Public Library is bringing back the popular Life Stories memoir writing program for two special sessions focused on recording memories of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Please register for each session individually. Each session will be presented online via Zoom. Be sure to include an email address to receive the link for the meeting. We will email participants a participation before the event. Please only register once per household!
