Join the Des Moines Weavers and Spinner’s Guild for a hands-on art workshop as part of our Artist in Residence series.

Target Audience: ages 8-13

This class will explore a simple winding pattern for creating a Gods Eye decoration.

Each individual participant must register to receive supplies. Participants will be able to pick up a supplies kit in the week before the class that will contain yarn and popsicle sticks. You will still need to provide scissors and glue.

This program will be presented via Zoom. Be sure to include an email address to receive the link for the meeting.

(Optional: instead of popsicle sticks, grab some sticks from the yard, that are about similar length and diameter. You can use as long a stick as you want to make bigger pieces. For little hands, 6" works well.)
