The Urbandale Public Library invites the public to compete in a jigsaw puzzle competition. Beginning Thursday, February 1, teams can drop into the library to assemble a designated 500-piece puzzle. A prize will be awarded to the quickest team + all participating teams will be entered in a drawing for a gift card!

How to Play: 

• Teams can be any size and each team will complete the same "official" competition puzzle. We have two copies of the puzzle that will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Check-in at the front desk to pick up the puzzle and a challenge form to record your time. Use any table of your choice within the library to complete the puzzle.
• There is no time limit for completing the puzzle but be mindful of library hours and the duration of time needed to complete the puzzle. (A 500-piece puzzle can take an average of 2-6 hours to complete.) Puzzles must be returned 15 minutes prior to the library closing. 
• Only one attempt is allowed per team to complete the puzzle and teams will not be allowed to resume progress on a puzzle if they are unable to complete it in a single session. You can still turn in your challenge form and mark down that you did not finish the puzzle. You will not be eligible for the quickest time prize but you will still be entered into the general prize drawing.
• Winners will be notified by March 8. Prizes can be collected at the front desk until March 31.
