"Rosie the Riveter" was the nickname given to women who worked in factories after men had gone off to fight during World War II. Nationwide, hundreds of factories were converted from their normal production into making something for the war effort. Women not only worked as riveters, but also welders, drill-press, lathe operators, and countless other factory jobs that were originally considered outside the scope of "women's work." Linda was able to speak with 35 Rosies from Iowa and plans to share their stories.
Linda will have copies of her Rosie book, plus all her other books, available
for purchase. Books are about $20 each and she can only take cash or check.
