Honk if you love reading! Drive by the Urbandale Public Library and pick up your summer reading-to-go kit and get set for summer reading fun! Kits will be available for both youth and adults. A special thanks to Officer Holly from the Urbandale Police Department who will be on hand to help distribute tote bags and say hello to everyone!
Tote bags will contain Summer Reading log information, a free zoo pass for kids, a craft, an icy treat, and more!
The
library’s annual summer reading challenge for kids, teens, and adults will run
from June 1 – August 1. Read 30 days
during the challenge period and be entered into a drawing for fabulous
prizes! This year’s theme is, “Reading
Colors Your World” so get ready for a range of fun, educational programs that
celebrate color, art, and more!
